- 700 g potatoes (1.54 lbs)
- 2 ½ cups meat stock or vegetable stock (570 ml)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)
- First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Slice the potatoes into thick chips.
- Heat the meat stock/ vegetable stock in a large pan, upon boiling, plunge the potatoes into it and cook approximately for 5 minutes or until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and cool. If desired, set aside some of the stock to make chips for another day.
- Pour the oil in a large zip lock bag and carefully toss the chips in it. You can freeze them and use them for another day.
- Place potato chips into a non-stick baking tray and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Turn them once every 5 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Drizzle with paprika or spicy chicken salt.
- Serve and enjoy!
