Potato Patties With Parmesan Ingredients
You will need:
- between 6-8 mashed potatoes to begin this recipe.
- You will also need 1 cup of milk.
- 1 large egg.
- 1 cup of grated parmesan.
- 4 tablespoons of butter.
- 1 pinch of salt.
- 2 tablespoons of flour and
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic.
This recipe is so sensational because almost all of these ingredients are common ingredients that most cooks will always have in their kitchen.
Instructions
First you will need to bring in your left over mashed potatoes and dump them all into a food processor. If you do not have enough left over potatoes then you can peel and mash a few more to get the correct amount. While running your food processor you should pour in the one cup one milk, one large egg, the butter, the salt, the flour, and the minced garlic. Run the food processor until all of these ingredients are combined and thoroughly minced. Make sure you do not run it too long and your ingredients become runny.
Take the combined mixture out of the food processor and place on a large bowl. Next stir in one cup of grated parmesan cheese. Stir with a spoon until all of the cheese is mixed within the mashed potato mixture. Next bring a large skillet up to high heat and pour 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil into the pan. Next you will form a patty with the mashed potato mixture in your hand. The patty should be palm size, or roughly 3 inches in diameter. Place patty in hot oil and cook on both sides for 3 minutes each. Place cooked patty in warm place.
