This recipe ends up into a unique mixture of potato chips, bacons and spices; Real good smelling because of the garlic and onions. Who says potato chips are only good for snacks? In fact, this meaty dish could be served as either main dish or side dish for supper! So, for a quick and savory supper, follow this recipe.
Ingredients
20 thin slices of red waxy potatoes
5 -6 garlic cloves, sliced
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
salt
pepper
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated (30 g)
Instructions
In a skillet/frying pan, heat oil.
Sauté garlic, bacon and potato slices over medium heat.
Season mixture with salt and pepper. Stir until potatoes are almost cooked through, and then add the green onions.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and wait for the cheese to melt
Remove from pan and serve.
Notes
Serve with a teaspoon of sour cream on top of potato chips.
